Description:
The Refinery Kids of HOME enrichment (musical theatre class) "MALICE IN THE PALACE" is a musical for young voices that tells the story of Esther with a powerful message that the smallest person acting bravely can make an enormous difference, and that God has placed us where we are for a reason. Our class will include singing, acting and choreography and will culminate in a performance at the end of the semester. Students will have the opportunity to audition the second week of class.  All students will have the chance to have speaking lines.  However, those chosen with larger roles will be expected to practice outside of class and come prepared.   Minimum of 15 students for performance.  Students will be required to practice music and lines outside of class. Students with lead roles may be asked to attend an additional rehearsal or two as performance nears (no additional charge).  Parents may also be asked to find, make or acquire (thrift stores are strongly encouraged) simple costuming or props.  These requests should be under $10 per student per semester.

Performance Day will be posted soon!
