Katie Gonzalez is a certified science teacher who taught science in Dade County Public Schools for 7 years.  After starting her family, she has homeschooled her two boys for 6 years.  Her homeschooling philosophy is based on developing a love for learning new things.  Therefore her class will incorporate interactive hands-on activities designed to promote a love of scientific investigation.
